Hannah was the 5th child born to William and Rachael T. Shaw Mitten. She was married to Hannaball R. Jackson on August 21, 1874* in Clinton County, Indiana, with F. M. Rule Pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church officiating. She and Hannaball had one child, a daughter Clarinda Jane Jackson. Hannah was a beautiful woman who died at the age of 22.
