"Helen Harden, 88, Crawfordsville, died at 11:47pm Sunday at Culver Union Hospital.
Mrs. Harden worked as a nurse's aide in Culver Union Hospital for 28 years.
Her memberships included Elmdale Community Church, Darlington Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 244, Darlington American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Ears Auxiliary 1431.
She was born Feb 7. 1911, at Elmdale, to Ora and Martha Jane Hauk Rafferty. She married Paul Harden. He died in 1970.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia McDonald, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; a brother, Clarence Rafferty, Ladoga; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10am today in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Hunt and Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements."
