ROGERSVILLE - O'Dell Price, 80, went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning (Dec. 11, 2002) at his residence.
He accepted Christ at an early age. O'Dell loved his Lord, his many friends and neighbors, and he was loved by all who knew him. He was an avid gardener and truly loved farming. He owned and operated Price's Kitchen Center until his retirement. O'Dell was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a deacon. He was a very loving husband, father and an especially loving grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. John Kyle Price; mother, Callie Sizemore Price; sister, Charlsie Johnson; brother, Rev. B.H. Price; stepmother, Mollie Price. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Addie Carter Price of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Jack and Sharon Seal of Rogersville and Diane and David Hall of Sevierville; grandchildren, Bryan Seal, Kevin Cassidy, Kim Cassidy, all of Rogersville, Matthew Hall and Callie Hall of Sevierville; special great-grandson, Joshua Caleb Cassidy; sisters, Mrs. M.C. (Evelena) Rogers of Surgoinsville, Deloris Collins of Kingsport, and Ursula Johnson of Church Hill; cousin, Kyle H. Johnson; several nieces and nephews. Overton Lodge #5 F&AM will conduct Masonic services at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Funeral services will follow with the Rev. Richard Cassidy officiating. Graveside services at Highland Cemetery.
