Holland Rites At Davidson
Funeral services honoring Milton Oscar Holland, Davidson resident since 1921 will be held at 10:30 am Friday at the Methodist Church in Davidson with interment in the Davidson cemetery.
Holland died at the home of his step son-in-law, Albert Apple, Nocona, Texas, Tuesday, after an illness of one week. He had many friends in the community who were saddened by his death.
Holland was the son of J. M. and Callie Jones Holland, born October 16, 1882 in Alabama. He moved to Hood County, Texas, at the age of 10 and established residence in the Davidson community in 1921.
He was a member of the Methodist Church of Davidson and a retired farmer.
Survivors include the wife of the home address, three sons, Thurman Holland and Marvin Holland of Davidson, and Milton Holland, Jr. of South Dakota; daughter Mildred Holland of Dallas, Texas, and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife.
