Adeline Hess, 93, of Clearfield, PA died Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at Mt. Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born March 7, 1911 in Morrisdale, PA she was the daughter of William E. and Lydia (Prechel) Hensel.
She was a homemaker and was a member of St.John Lutheran Church, Clearfield.
She is survived by seven children, Merlin W. "Sonny" Hess and his wife Maria of Clearfield, Elizabeth Potter and her husband Herman of Pleasant Gap, PA, Gladys Kline and her husband Robert of Grampian, PA, Carol Robbins and her husband Robert of Clearfield, Joyce Whaling and her late husband Robert of DuBois, PA, Marcia Root and her husband Clarence of Clearfield, and Ellen Russell and her husband Rev. Dale Russell of Saladasburg, PA. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren John Potter, David Potter, William Potter, Laura Lippert, Robert Kline, Jr., Beth Assmann, Robert Robbins, Jr., Monica Smith, Susan Waite, Michael Robbins, Nina Hess Behringer, Clarence Root II, Mark Russell, Matthew Russell,19 Great Grandchildren and two brothers Benjamin Hensel of Morrice Michigan and Edward Hensel of Clio, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Merlin A. Hess who died September 11, 1981, three brothers Frederick,Gearhart and Ernest Hensel and two sisters Alma Kapanka and Elsie Hensel and an infant sister Frederika.
