Son of Samuel Robert Barnes and Jane Rebecca " Jennie " Redmon/d.

Husband of Leona Gladys Pauley. They lived at 420 Woodland Street Nashville, TN

They had the following known children;

Daughter- Eva Gladys Barnes married later in life. No children by that marriage.

Son- William Bryan Barnes

Son- George William Barnes

Son- Andrew Johnson Barnes, often used name Johnson / A Johnson Barnes Jr
( he diverted from the Grocery business being employed by City of Nashville Fire Dept and Served in the Military., moved to Florida., mainly Fort Lauderdale, FL where he died and is interred. He married Ruth Hodges born in Georgia, also died in Fort Lauderdale age 93. Their son. Andrew J Johnson attended Gainesville FL college in Law. He, too, was a Military Man, he died in Chicago, Cook, Illinois 31 October 1973

Andrew was a well established business man owning his home and grocery store and meat market on the block of 400 Woodland Street ., Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.
( Today, that area is not there with the bridges built to enter downtown Nashville. )
Andrew's father Samuel worked with him on Woodland Street Nashville Davidson County TN at his Grocery / Meat Market Business. Samuel died at Andrew's home in 1900; but buried in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee @ Hollywood Cemetery.


He had High Blood Pressure which contributed to his death.
