Well-known as an avid gardener and quilter; and affectionately known as "The Cheese Lady" for many years at the St. Catharines Downtown Market. Her love and compassion for the sick and elderly was evident in her provision of in-home nursing care in earlier years and in friendly visits and extensive letter-writing in later years. She was a longtime member of the First Mennonite Church of Vineland; her faith has taken her home. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St., on Sunday 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Mennonite Church, 3557 Rittenhouse Road, Vineland on Monday, July 15th at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family.
