Joanne Hunsberger died peacefully in Nithview Long Term Care on November 10, 2021
after a lengthy time living with Alzheimer's.
Joanne is survived by her six children: Debbie Coxson, Mike Hunsberger, John Hunsberger,
Judy Cole, Marj Sankar and Kris Owen.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Joanne was predeceased by her parents Walter and Selina Shantz, and her siblings
Lorna Bergey, Jeanne Culp, Ken Shantz, Wilbur Shantz and Clyde Shantz.
She is survived by her sisters Kathryn Leatherman and Beth Good.
Joanne's life can be summed up in three words – Faith, Family and Fun.
She was devoted to her faith her entire life and shared her devotion with others.
Joanne was committed to every aspect of her children's lives and extended her love
to everyone she was related to. She brought laughter and fun to every occasion
and was loved by all. Her infectious laugh could light up a room and will be well remembered.
A private family service will be held on November 16, 2021 at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the MCC Thrift Store in New Hamburg.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg.
