GUY - Mrs. Mary Frances Guy passed away at 12:40 this morning at her home on a farm near Linwood. Death followed an illness of several weeks. Miss Mary Van Ornam was born Aug 14, 1864. She married to E. B. Guy in Kansas in 1882, coming to Davenport soon after. She was member of the Presbyterian church. Those surviving are four sons, Arthur at Eldridge, William of Davenport, Roy and Henry and one daughter, Viola, at home. The body was taken to the Horrigan funeral parlors pending funeral arrangements.
THE GUY FUNERAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Guy were held at 2:30 o'clock, Thursday afternoon from E. A. Horrigan funeral parlors. Rev. Samuel Bauer of Bettendorf officiating. Mrs. W. A. Ceperley sang during the services. The pallbearers were Herman Doennecke, William Guy, Theodore Guy, Benjamin Guy, Frank Hutchinson, and Newton Bornholdt. Interment was in Oakdale cemetery.
