JAMES BEDLAN SERVICES HELD AT CRETE

James Bedlan, son of Martin and Meri (Vrba) Bedlan, was born near Friend on September 11, 1897, and passed away at the Beatrice Manor on Monday, December 12, 1977, at the age of 80 years, 3 months, and 1 day.

In 1924, he was united in marriage to Amelia M. Krejdl, and to his union were born two children.

James farmed near Friend most of his life.

He leaves to mourn his passing one son, Leonard J. Bedlan; and one daughter, Angeline (Mrs. Ed Greiner); both of Littleton, Col.; and two grandchildren Mark and Melissa Greiner of Littleton, Col.; one brother, Felix Bedlan of Milligan; two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Kalina of Crete and Mrs. Rose Orash of Friend.

Preceding him in death were his wife; parents; one brother, Jake; and one sister Emma Wasmeier.
