OBITUARY FROM WATERLOO DAILY COURIER, 10 Oct 1948: Irene Cavanaugh born 30 Sept 1912, Hudson IA, oldest daughter of Mr and Mrs C T Cavanaugh. Died in hospital, Walker MN, complication of ailments. Married 18 Aug 1936 to J M Jensen of Blessing. Survived by husband at Whipholt, MN; 3 children Marian Kay, James Marvin and Joan Sue all of Whipholt; 6 sisters, Mrs, John Moran, Arlington VA, Mrs Aloysius Duffy, Fairbank, Mrs Elmer Lamarr and Mrs Kenneth Schultz, Waterloo, Mrs Linder Mask, Hudson, Mrs Leonard Voorhies; 2 brothers, John of Waterloo and Will of Denver IA; brother Daniel Emmett of US Navy preceded her in death.
