Alexzander Ohler, 92, Markelton RD 1 died Dec 8 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1884, in Upper Turkeyfoot Twp., a son of the late Joe and Sarah Phillippi Ohler. Preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Jane Younkin and a daughter, Elsie Kreger. Survived by the following children: Mrs. Alice Porterfield, Mrs. Eva Hoover, Harold Ohler all of Makelton RD 1; Elmer of Markleton and Mrs. Sarah Sanner of Confluence RD 1; 23 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren. He was a member of the Old Bethel Church of God. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence and until 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The body will lie in state at the Old Bethel Church of God from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., the hour of service on Saturday, Dec. 11. Rev. Paul Tobias officiating. Interment, Old Bethel Cemetery.
