Mrs. Lucinda Mitchell, 87, of RD 1, Boswell, died Nov. 21 in Somerset Community Hospital. She was born June 22, 1879, daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Philippi Ohler. She was preceded in death by her first husband William Ohler, also her second husband, Noah R. Mitchell, two sons: Noah Mitchell and Charles Ohler, one daughter, Mrs Sarah Younkin. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by the following children: Milton Ohler, R. D. 1, Markleton; William Ohler, R. D. 1, Friedens; Alex Ohler, R. D. 1, Fairhope; Melvin Ohler, R. D. 1, Stoystown; Harry Ohler, R. D. 1, Boswell; Scott Mitchell, R. D. 1, Boswell; Harvey Mitchell, R. D. 2, Boswell; Clarence Mitchell, Ambridge. Also surviving are the following step-children: Mrs. Nina Ohler, R. D. 1, Fairhope; LeRoy Mitchell, R.D. 1, Rockwood; Mrs. Dorothy Mitchell, R. D. 2, Stoystown; John, R. D. 1, Friedens; 47 grandchildren 61 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Mitchell is also survived by one brother and two sisters: Alex Ohler, R.D. 1, Markleton; Mrs. Mary Pyle, R.D. 1, Rockwood; and Mrs. Pearl Strawderman, Connellsville. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) in the Donald B. Hay Funeral Home, Boswell, where services will be conducted Friday, 2 p.m. with the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes officiating.
