Claude David "Dee" Dixon, 78, of West Decatur, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Dubois Regional Medical Center.

Born May 26, 1934, he was a son of the late David A. and Belle E. (Shimmel) Dixon. On Dec. 11, 1976 at Mount Hope Church, Clearfield, he married Nancy (Elliott) Dixon, who survives at home.

He is also survived by three daughters, Lori Dixon and Deanne Waleeck, both of Niagara Falls, NY and Dionne Martell and her husband, Lee of Chester Hill; three brothers, Marshall Dixon of Allport, Stanley Dixon of East Aurora, NY and Edward Dixon and his wife, Janet of Gearhartville; three sisters, Clemence Herrington and her husband, Jack of Black Moshannon and Lila Stephens Wagner and Bonnie Kephart, both of West Decatur; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Eloise and Gloria Dixon. He was a truck driver at Kephart Trucking from which he retired.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and time to be announced. There will be no public visitation.
