Mrs. Dollie Shrock, widow of Fred Shrock, 2721 South H St., died Saturday morning at 8:20 at her home. She had been ill for five years.

Born in Madison County, Sept 3, 1887 she was the daughter of Wilfred and Catherine Bright. She married Fred Shrock on April 16, 1906. To this union were born 15 children, twelve of whom are living. She was a member of the Church of the First Born and of the Mothers of World War II.

Survivors include the following children: Mrs. May Majors, Elwood, Mrs. Cecil Rittenhouse, Dundee, Mrs. Mary McCord, Anderson, and Mrs. Martha Ryan, Alexandria; seven sons: Robert, Max "Mick", Donald, James, and Dan Shrock, all of Elwood, John and George Shrock of Tarboro, NC and Raymond of Anderson; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ellen Jones of Elwood.

She was predeceased by 2 daughters: Mable Boyd, and Dortha Shrock, and 1 son: Paul Shrock.

The body is at the Robert Jackley Funeral Home where friends may call.

Funeral rites will be held Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. Friday at Jackley's with Rev. Charles McPhearson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
