Mrs Mary (BRIGHT) Smith succumbs today.

"Mrs Mary Smith 62, wife of Ira Smith residing at 512 No 12st, died at 8:00 o'clock this morning of heart trouble and complications. born 2 Mar 1873, and in 1891 she was unted in marriage to Ira Smith.

Thirteen children were born to this union. Ten Children survive. Mrs Sylvia Goens, Mrs Delcia Wardwell all of Elwood, Everett Smith of Saratoga, Clarence Smith of Elkhart, Mrs Martha Jones of Winchester, Wayne and John Smith and Mrs Erma Simms all of Muncie. Mother, Martha Bright of Elwood, three brothers, Samuel and Amberson Bright, both of Elwood, and Oliver Bright of Columbus. And
four sisters, Mrs Lydia Smith, Mrs Clara Crull, Mrs Ellen Jones,and Mrs Caroline Schrock all of Elwood.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Nazarene Church sunday afternoon at 2:00 o;clock with the pastor, Rev B H Wooten in charge."
