Beatrix "Bea" M. Butler, 79 years of age, passed away, on Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Sun City, Ariz., where she had been hospitalized. Bea lived in Globe, Ariz. for 49 years before she moved to Yuma, Ariz., where she made many new friends.

Bea lived in Yuma for 15 happy years, moving to Cottonwood, Ariz. and back to her beloved mountains when her husband, Billy, retired.

Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Billy B. Butler; and her sister, Francis Smith.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert (Bob) Butler and wife, Rachel of Mesa, Ariz., and Gary Butler and wife, Susan of Flagstaff, Ariz.; brother, Robert Huerta, of Manassas, Va.; four grand children and five greatgrandchildren.

Bea dearly loved animals and in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Arizona Human Society or the American Arthritis Foundation.

Mass will be held on Friday, May 24 at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cottonwood.
