Chilton.- James A. Baker, 50, a native of Calumet County, and a Milwaukee contractor and builder, was fatally injured Tuesday, when he fell from the roof on the apartment house where he lived at 2731 W. Kilbourn Avenue, Milwaukee. He was taken to the Milwaukee County Emergancy Hospital. Mr Baker was born in Town Brothertown, Calumet County in 1882, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Baker Sr. He is survived by three sons by a former marriage; Ernst, Arthur and Harold in Milwaukee; his wife; his mother, Mrs. Julia Baker of Chilton; five sisters, Mrs Adolph Kiefer, Mrs. Melissa Coffeen of Chilton; Mrs. Delia Severin, Chicago; Mrs. Clarence Health, Milwaukee; Mrs. J. O. Pemberton, Occonto Falls, and by three brothers, George and William of Brothertown and Frank of Fond du lac.
The funeral will be held in Millwaukee Friday.
