Funeral of
Mrs. Carleton Felch
The funeral of Mrs. Charlotte
Felch. widow of the late Carleton
Felch, was held Friday afternoon
at 2 o'clock from her home on
Cherry Street. Rev. George W.
Scudder, pastor of the Church of
the Messiah officiated and the bu
rial was in the family lot in Mt.
Pleasant cemetery.
Mrs. Felch died Wednesday
morning after a long and painful
illness. She was the daughter of
Orin French of Glover and was
born there November 23, 1843,
one of a large family of children.
August 28. 1865, she married
Carleton Felch of St. Johnsbury
and came here where her long
and useful life has been spent.
She was a faithful member of the
Universalist church. She is sur
vived by a son, George C. Felch,
and a sister, Lucy C. French, both
of St. Johnsbury.
