Ethel Diser, 94, of Marshalltown, died of a heart ailment on Friday, at Southridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center there. Services at Bethel Grove Church of Christ, Albion, where she was a member. Burial in Bethel Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Diser was born in Madison County and had lived in Marshalltown for 58 years. She was a homemaker and baby sitter.
Surviving are three daughters, Rose Marie Davis and Elsie Davis, both of Marshalltown, and Carolyn Pitt of Phoenix; a son, Elwain of Marshalltown; a sister, Ruby Smith of Winterset; nine grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Her husband Lafe, preceded her in death.
