She was the daughter of James Cecil and Margaret Rose Hunter Meade. She had 11 sons Norman Smite, Homer Jorden, William Harold, Robert Edward, Richard Harrison, Daniel Copper, Millard Joe, Venchie Duff, Terry Franklin, Benny Douglas, and James Clark. She had five daughters Mary Eileen, Laura Olive, Henrietta Lavon, Loretta Lou, and Rose Marie. Now she is with her loving husband Norman Burgess Carroll.
She loss her mother Margaret Rose Hunter 6 Weeks after her birth and her dad James Cecil Meade 6 months after her birth. She was rised by her grandpa and grandma Tempence Ann Ison and James Hunter.
