R.B. Wallace, 59, Dies Of Heart Attack - Robert B. Wallace, 59, of 318 Ease Locust street, prominent local resident, died of a heart attack while enroute to the Clearfield Hospital at 9:45 o'clock last night. He had been in ill health since last fall. Born in Clearfield in June 1898, he was graduated from Clearfield High School in 1907 and from the Eastman Business Sahool in Poughkepsie, N. Y. He had been employed as teller a t the Clearfield Trust Company since 1911. The deceased was a veteran of World War I and served as commander of the John Lewis Shade Post No. 6, American Legion of Clearfield, in 1834. He was a member at the Clearfield Presbyterian Church and The Clearfield Lodge No 314, Free and Accepted Order of Masons. Mr. Wallace was named honorary member of the Clearfield Fire Department and was an honorary member of its Fair and Park Board since its organization in 1938. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Hazel Wallace; two children, Nancy of Clearfield and Robert B. Wallace Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by the following sister and brothers; Miss Katherine Wallace, of New York City; Gerald F. of Clearfield; Henry of Johnstown, William m. of Plainfield, N.J. and Raymond L. of Philadelphia. One grandchild, Nancy Anna, also survives. Military funeral services by the Clearfield American Legion will be held from the Leavy Funeral Home here at 2 p.m. Thursday in charge of Rev. Tolbert D. Hewlett, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Masonic services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon and evening and until time of services Thursday.
