ALFRED BENNER

REPUBLIC-- Alfred C. Benner, 90, Route 1, ill about one year, died Wednesday morning in Tiffin Mercy Hospital.

He was born Sept. 6, 1887, to Charles and Susan (Seifert) Benner in Carey. He and Leona Houck were married Feb. 24, 1914, and she died in 1966.

Surviving are sons, Herman, Toledo; Walter, Tiffin; and Birgil, Republic; daughter, Mrs. Leondus (Alma) Price, Republic; Mrs. Betty Cooper, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Ervin (Anna) Wasserman, Fremont; Mrs. Nelson (Mary) Shafer, Bucyrus, and Mrs. Gordon (Doris) Weikert, McCutchenville; 34 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Aloysius Church with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Tiffin.

Visitation at the Olds-Pancoast Funeral Home hers, is after 1 p.m. Thursday. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
