DAVENPORT - Services for Phyllis Jean Ede, of Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Visitation is 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ede died early Thursday morning, Dec. 16, 1999, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport, after a long battle with complications from diabetes.
She was a homemaker. Phyllis Jean Small was born Feb. 19, 1933, in Bennett, Iowa, to James Leslie and Elsie Alice (Schneckloth) Small. She married Verdine C. Ede on Sept. 4, 1955, at Trinity Cathedral, Davenport. She enjoyed reading, cooking and her family immensely. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Lori Ede, Davenport; a daughter and son-in-law, Valerie Ann and John Reed, Davenport; a daughter, Dawn S. Louck, Walcott, Iowa; grandchildren, Christina and Carrie Louck and Gabriel, Desiree and Elias Reed; and sisters, Joan Fisher, Brownsville, Texas, Esther Puls, Tipton, Iowa, and Janet Small of Davenport.
