Janet R. Small, 88, of Davenport, formerly of Bennett, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Kahl Home in Davenport.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all who attend the visitation should wear a mask and exercise social distancing within groups.

Private family graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, in the Inland Cemetery, rural Bennett, Iowa.
Janet Rose Small was born November 22, 1931, in Bennett, a twin to her sister Joan, the daughter of James and Elsie (Schneekloth) Small. She was raised in Bennett and graduated from Bennett High School in 1949. Janet was employed as a nurse’s aide most of her life caring for others who could not care for themselves. She was a member of Peace Church in Bennett.
She is survived by and one brother-in-law, Leland Fisher of Alamo, TX, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Elda Norton, Esther Puls, Joan Fisher and Phyllis Ede.
