JOSEPH LUESCHE (sic) DEAD
Joseph Lueschke, who is said to have owned and operated the first steam
threshing outfit in Manitowoc county, a resident here since he was 14,
died at the hospital this morning, following an operation a week ago. Mr.
Leschke was 62 years of age, having been born in Germany. He formerly
resided at Meeme but for seven years had lived in this city.
Besides a wife and ten children Mr. Leschke is survived by his father,
who is 98 years old, one brother and two sisters.
The funeral will be held at Norhdeim (sic) Catholic Church Friday morning.
