Funeral services for John F. Leschke, 78, native of Northeim, who died Thursday morning at the Manitowoc County Hospital, following a lingering illness where held at 8:30 Saturday at the Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church.. The Rev. F. Rose officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Leschke was born December 7, 1877, son of the late Joseph and Pauline Leschke. He never married. He operated a farm in Osman for 15 years and for 25 years was employed by the Clark Oil Co.
He is survived by three brothers, Joseph and Peter of Osman, Edward of Manitowoc; four sisters, Mrs. Eva Brachman, Mrs. Lucy Haase, Mrs. George Gebhard of Manitowoc and Mrs. Julia Erickson of Chicago.
Pallbearers were Ralph Brachmann, Florian Brachmann, Lyle Madigan, Merlyn Madigan, Joseph Haase and James Leschke.

Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Leschke was born Dec. 7, 1877, son of the late Joseph and Pauline Cichy Leschke. He never married. He operated a farm in Osman for 15 years and for 25 years was employed by the Clark Oil Co.
He is survived by three brothers, Joseph and Peter of Osman and Edward of Manitowoc and four sisters, Mrs. Eva Brachman, Mrs. Lucy Haase and Mrs. George Gebhard of Manitowoc and Mrs. Julia Erickson of Chicago.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 pm Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Friday.
