Peter A. Leschke, 85, of 2401A Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday at Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Leschke was born Nov. 22, 1889, at Northeim, son of the late Joseph and Pauline Chicy Leschke. He married Elizabeth Brunmeier June 27, 1916, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. They owned and operated the Osman Club at Osman until 1949 when they owned and operated a farm in the Town of Newton. In 1961, they moved to Manitowoc to reside. Mr. and Mrs. Leschke celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1966. He was a 25-year member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 706 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, a sister, Mrs. Julia Erickson, of Chicago and nieces and nephews. Three brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.
