According to Ruth Roth Moehlman's book "Heritage Homes of Farmington: If Walls Could Talk" - Arthur Power built two different log homes along the Rouge River in what is today the City of Farmington. The second house was built in what was eventually William Power's orchard, north of Shiawassee and west of Farmington Road. It was a "Long-log house" built in 1826. The house no longer exists.
