Mrs. Fannie Belle Warden, wife of J. L. Warden, died at 4:40 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the family residence, 71 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, after an illness of several months. She was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church, and a native of Great Bridge Section, but had lived in South Norfolk thirteen years, where she was well known and esteemed. She was a daughter of the late N. F. and Mrs. Fannie Waters Foreman, Norfolk County. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Sergeant P. M. Warden, Z. E. Warden and J. W. Warden, of South Norfolk and a brother, C. N. Foreman, of Princess Anne County. The funeral will be conducted at the residence Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. C. E. Green, pastor of the Chesapeake Avenue Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
