Mrs. J. Howard Siron, 76, of McDowell died at her home Tuesday. She was the former Miss Sally Armstrong, daughter of the late Abbott and Martha Armstrong of Highland. A lifelong resident of McDowell, Mrs. Siron was a member the McDowell Presbyterian Church and was active in civic organizations in the community. She was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by two sons, Gilbert Siron of Washington, D.C. and Guy Siron of Staunton; five daughters, Mrs. Joe Brown and Miss Hattie Siron of Richmond, Mrs. Brown Armstrong of McDowell, Mrs. Lonzo Carter of Newport News and Mrs. Kenneth Crawford of Covington, and two grandchildren.
