Mr. J. Howard Siron died Friday afternoon March 14, at the University Hospital, after a short illness. He was a son of the late Mr.. and Mrs Gilbert Siron & is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie Armstrong Siron & the following children: Miss Hattie Siron of Washington, Mrs. Cornelia Carter & Miss Peggy Siron, of Clifton Forge, Mrs. Martha Brown, Richmond, Mrs. Mary Armstrong, McDowell, Gilbert Siron, Washington, Guy Siron, at home; and one granddaughter, Brenda Armstrong; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Rhodes of Cleveland, 0H., Miss Edna Siron, Greenville & three brothers, Charles of Dallas, Texas, Luther of Idaho & Oscar of Missouri. Mr. Siron was well known and respected by all his friends and neighbors. He was a prosperous farmer, having spent his entire life at the home place. He was a member of the Presbyterian church for many year & will be missed by all. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Presbyterian church by Rev. A. E. Johnson of Monterey, assisted by Rev. L. O. Rose.
