Mrs. L.J. Bryson

Darlington- Mrs. L.J. Bryson, 71, wife of former Lafayette County Sheriff L.J. Bryson, died at her home here Sunday after a long illness.
Mrs. Bryson was born in Blue River on Jan. 23, 1869. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Williams. On Dec. 12, 1888, she was married to Mr. Bryson, and had lived with him here since that time. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1938.
Survivors include the widower, a son, James, Darlington, a daughter, Mrs. Bert Todd, Rockford, Ill.; three grandchildren; two brother, Robert Williams, Rockford, and John Williams, Reedsburg, and two sisters, Mrs. Edward McGinley, Darlington and Mrs. Addie Batchelor, Rockford. Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 pm Wednesday with the Rev. E.J. Jeffries officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove cemetery.
