Ernest Albert Pohl, Lawrence, died early Tuesday at Lawrence Memorial
Hospital. He was 57.
He was born Sept. 15, 1906, near Baldwin, and had lived in Lawrence
about 20 years. He was employed by the maintenance department at Kansas
University.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rumsey Funeral Home,
Lawrence. Burial will be in Worden Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Opal, of the home; one son, Marvin E.,
Topeka; two daughters, Mrs. Laurine Botaw (sic), Anaheim, Calif., and
Mrs. Mary Ann Wells, Lawrence; two brothers, Henry, 516 S. Sycamore, and
Walter, 725 S. Sycamore, and two sisters, Mrs. G. B. Nelson, 1406 S.
Main, and Mrs. Chester Gibson, 534 S. Oak.
