The home of Mr and Mrs. Paul Koehler was a a scene of a pretty home wedding on Wednesday (March 17th), when they gave ther eldest daughter, Louise, in marriage to Walter Pohl of Baldwin.
The living room was decorated with yellow and white flowers and candles. The bridal party took their places beneath a canopy of green and white as the strains of the wedding march was played by the groom's sister, Mrs. Chester Gibson.
The bride wore a gown of rosewood crepe romaine and carried a bouquet of ophelia roses. She was attended by her sister, Miss Hilda Koehler, who wore a frock of peach-colored crepe. Her corsage was of salmon-pink sweet peas and rose buds. The groom's younger brother, Ernest Pohl, acted as best man.
At high noon the double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. C.W. Weidensaul of the Worden Evangelical Church. After the ceremony a dinner was served to the immediate relatives and friends.
After a short wedding trip the couple will be at home with the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Pohl who live west of Baldwin, until their new home in the vicinity is completed.
