Cora McDonald, 92, Kirklin, died at Clinton Convalescent Center yesterday afternoon.
She was born June 13, 1886, in Boone County, the daughter of Christopher and Lucinda (Stowers) Payne. On October 16, 1906, she married Charles McDonald. He died April 24, 1946.
She was a member of the Kirklin Christian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Marie Meiers of Frankfort; one brother, Paul Payne of Kirklin; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kercheval Funeral Home, Sheridan, with Rev. Frankie Pilley officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirklin.
