Her maiden name was Maggie Rasque, and in 1892 she was married to Hans Gabel, who together with two children, are left to mourn the loss of a devout and earnest mother.
She was a sister to Mrs. Jno. Hemphill and Mrs. Chas. Wright of Belmont, Mrs. Kate Brady of Bloomington, Mrs. Mary Gabel of Cassville, and two brothers Herman and Matt Rasque and her aged father Herman Rasque Sr., also a sister Miss Josephine of Muscoda, and another brother Constand Rasque of Blue River.
The funeral was held this morning. Interment at St. Peter's cemetery.
