MR. ROYSTON "ROY" FRANK MILES, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Christine Miles of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre on Friday, August 6, 2010 at the age of 83 years.
Roy is survived by his sons, 4 grandchildren, as well as 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his niece from Everett, Washington.
Roy was predeceased by his wife Christine and daughter Brenda.
He was always active in community affairs. Other than spending time with his family and friends, his best times were those spent playing music and entertaining at dances with the "CAMEOS" orchestra. Roy's quiet courage, strength of spirit, creativity and sense of humour will be carried forward by those who knew him.
Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 – Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Monday, August 9th, 2010 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, August 10th, 2010 at 11:00 A.M.
Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
