On Oct. 1, 1938 in Rochester he married Charlotte Luilla BOWMAN, who survives. He was a farmer.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Garrell (Linda) JONES, Akron, and Connie FOOSHEE, Peru; a son, Kenny [HARTZLER], Akron; three sisters, Mrs. Byron (Mildred) THOMPSON, Akron; Flossie LANCE, Wabash, and Nettie MILLER, Peru; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death were three brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Akron Cemetery with Pastor Lawrence SEE officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
