He was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was employed by the Ky. State Highway Dept. He is survived by his wife, Clara Ola Arnett; 2 sons and 1 daughter, Ricky Arnett, Aurora, Ill., James Robert Arnett, Campbellsville, and Alice Arnett, Summersville; 2 grandchildren, Tonya Arnett and Adam Arnett, Campbellsville; his step-mother, Gladys Arnett, Greensburg; 7 brothers and 6 sisters, Frank Arnett, Campbellsville, Woodson ARnett, Raymond Arnett, Virginia Akins, Ruth Simpson, Ada Creason and Carl Arnett, Greensburg, Clayton Arnett, Martha Edwards and Noah ARnett, Magnolia Edgar Arnett and Ruby Milby, Summersville, Kathryn Simpson, Central City; several other relatives and friends. The funeral was at 2 pm Wed. 12 Apr at the Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Don Berry officiated. Pallbearers were Russell Wright, Russell Akin, George Marrs, Jim Marrs, Richard Simpson, David Lee Nelson, George Perkins and David Corbin.
