Mrs. Maisy Indjidjian, age 95, of Crockett, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. She was born July 24, 1917 in Oakwood, Texas and had lived most of her lifetime in Houston County. Mrs. Indjidian was a housewife and of the Baptist Faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed cooking for family and friends, gardening, painting and sewing. Mrs. Indjidjian was proud of the many lessons she learned growing up in a rural farm environment during the depression and never hesitated to pass these lessons along to her family. We will miss you Mimi.

Survivors include daughters, Carole Gordon and husband Bill, Sandra Wright, Suzanne Standley and husband, Frank, Kim Williams and husband, Dav; grandchildren, Ashley Kelton and husband, Brent, Brandon Gordon and wife, Michelle of Magnolia, Tiffany Sharman and husband, Jim, Brittany Wright, Ryann Detamore and husband, Brett, Kylie Riley and husband, Luke of Houston, Lyndli Elliott and husband, Chris, Megan Williams; great-grandchildren, McCray, Kasen, McKamey, Manning, Brylie, Luke, Maisy, Hallie, Cash, Parks, Cana and Evie; sister, Daisy Fritze; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by husband, Durant Indjidjian; parents, Thomas Franklin and Lille Estelle Hart; sisters, Maria Hughes, Carrie Allee, Hallie Wilson; brothers, Marvin Hart and Roy Hart.

Funeral services for Mrs. Maisy Indjidjian will be held Monday, February 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Austonio Baptist Church with Rev. Wes May officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
