Clarence Grebin was the second of nine children born to Romen Grebin and Helena Ibach Grebin. He was born on January 30th, 1895 in Preston, Minnesota.
He graduated from Preston High School in 1915 and then went on to serve in WWI from 1917 to 1919.
When he returned home, he raised honey bees and ran a wholesale honey business.
He also served as the Preston village clerk from 1932 to 1959 and a school board member from 1932 to 1938, along with serving as the secretary of village utilities for 26 years.
He married Genevieve Mayer from Bayport, Mn. on September 14th, 1926. They raised two boys together, Thomas and Jerome.
Clarence continued to live in Preston until his death on May 1st, 1987
