Edward Hugill

Born March 30, 1922 in Akron, he was the son of Walter and Gladys (Beck) Hugill. He was a life resident of Ravenna.

Mr. Hugill was employed at Ravenna Oil Co. and was co-owner of Ravenna Auto Parts from 1971 until he retired in 1981.

He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He enjoyed bowling and his family.

He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Betty (Earp) of Ravenna, to whom was married 57 years; son, Edward M. of Carmel, Ind.; daughters, Beverly Fick of Wernersville, Pa. and Deborah (Les) Cross of Randolph; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Paul T. of Ravenna. His brothers, Harry, Jack and Richard, died previously.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wood Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel, where services will follow at noon. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.

Memorials may be made to the Critical Care Unit at Robinson Memorial Hospital, 6847 N. Chestnut St., P.O. Box 1204, Ravenna, 44266.
