Calamine- Funeral services for George W. Strickland, 76, lifelong resident of Calamine, who died Friday night in a Dodgeville hospital after only a few days illness, will be held at 9 am Monday at the Steil Funeral home, Darlington and at 9:30 in St. Michael's Catholic church in Calamine.
The Rev. Joseph Strange will conduct the services.
Burial will be at Immaculate Conception cemetery in Truman.
Mr. Strickland is survived by one son, Clarence, Calamine and one brother, Dan, Darlington.
A brother, Joseph Strickland, 80, died at noon Friday at a Cumberland, Wis., hospital, just six hours before George succumbed.
His wife died 30 years ago.
