Mr. Strickland is survived by one son, Clarence, Calamine and one brother, Dan, Darlington.
A brother, Joseph Strickland, 80, died at noon Friday at a Cumberland, Wis., hospital, just six hours before George succumbed.
His wife died 30 years ago.
