Funeral services for Mrs. Reuben Hachfeld, 64, of 1155 Willow St., Faribault, were held on July 25 at the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour with the Very Rev Thomas D. Hughes, Dean of the Cathedral, officiating. Interment was made in the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault. Pallbearers were Fred Kuether, Gary Lockman, Dale Paschke, James Paschke, Harvey Phillops and William Thom. Organ music was provided by Mrs. Lester Nichols. Catherine Lockman Kuether Hachfeld was born on Sept. 12, 1905, in Austin to William and Serena Nelson Lockman. She was united in marriage to Frank F. Kuether on Aug. 5, 1935, in Austin, who preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 1967. She was remarried to Reuben Hachfeld on May 30, 1969, in Owatonna. She was a member of the Cathedral of our Merciful Saviour. Mrs. Hachfeld, who passed away at her home on July 23, is survived by her husband, Ruben; one step-daughter; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Lillian) Thom of Faribault and Mrs. Victor (Dorothy) Dufty of Milwaukee, Wis.; one brother, Fred Lockman and by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Friends and relatives attended the funeral from Owatonna, Northfield and Faribault.
