Kathrain M. Rice Forrest, age 82, of Crossett, AR passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012. She was born in Fountain Hill, AR on April 6, 1930. Mrs. Forrest was a homemaker and a member of South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded by a brother, Virgil Donaldson, a sister, Carolyn Outlaw; her first husband, Roy H. Rice in 1993; her second husband, Johnnie Forrest in 2008.
Survivors include a son, Roy Donald Rice (Beverly); a daughter, Debbie Barnett, all of Crossett, AR; four brothers, Gene Donaldson (Marlene), Doyle Donaldson (Bonnie), Charles Donaldson (Linda), and Glen Donaldson; three sisters, Sylvia Oliver (Billy), Alice Donaldson and Kathy Donaldson, all of Crossett, AR; four grandchildren, Wade Barnett (Shannon), Michael Barnett, Jamie Rice (Heather), Angie Abernathy (Randy) and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Don Justice and Bro. Jerry Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.
