Service arrangements are pending at Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary for Ansel A. Stroud, 70, Kansas City, Kan., a former Topekan, who died Monday in a Kansas City, Mo., hospital.
He was born June 5, 1896, at Stoutland, Mo., and had lived at Kansas City, Kan., 15 years. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Christian Church. He formerly worked for the Burlington Railroad.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Bell Casebier and Mrs. Bernice Stoud, both of 2145 Virginia, and Mrs. Ollie Jordan, Tucson, Ariz.; and a brother, Plato Stroud, Granite Falls, Wash.
