He was a member of the Sharpsburg post of the American legion.
Surviving are sisters: Mrs. Helen A. Cost, Miss Daisy M. Reel, Miss Gay C. Reel; brothers, Fred A., Sheriden V., and Richard A., at home.
The body was removed to the Suter Funeral Home where the service will be conducted Monday at 2 .m., the Rev. Gerald D. Kauffman officiating, with interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
