Charles D. Reel died suddenly of a heart attack at his home, 801 Virginia Avenue, last night at 8 o'clock, aged 58 years.

He had been employed at Plant 13 of Fairchild Aircraft Division.

Mr. Reel was born and reared in Sharpsburg, the son of Thomas H., and Mary (Grice) Reel.

He was a member of the St. Paul's U.B. Church and the Men's Bible Class, and Hagerstown Lodge of Elks.

He is survived by his wife, Helen M. Reel; stepdaughters, Mrs. Lena Wishard, Hagerstown, and Mrs. Elizabeth Moore, Baltimore; stepson, Woodrow W. Moore, Hagerstown; sisters, Miss Daisy Reel, Miss Gay C. Reel and Mrs. Helen A. Cost, Sharpsburg Pike; brothers, Fred A., Lester J., Sheridan V., and Richard A. Reel, Sharpsburg Pike.

The body was removed to the Suter funeral home. Funeral services from the funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Dr. F. Berry Plummer officiating; interment in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
