Sheridan V. Reel, 72, Sharpsburg Pike, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday. He was born in Keedysville, a son of Thomas H. and Mary C. Grice Reel. He had been a farmer all of his life and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

The only survivors are cousins.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. John R. Lobo on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Rouzer Funeral Home. Burial in Mt. View Cemetery in Sharpsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7 to 9.
